Am I the only one in St.Albert who thinks the "scramble" light at the St. Anne and Perron Street intersection is a big fat failure? I can see the merit of the light on a summer Saturday when the farmers' market is going on, but certainly not the rest of the year. Today again, I watched as ONE man crossed, while I counted 16 idling vehicles on the various corners: 12 cars and four large trucks idling for about half a minute.
How can we justify this? What is being done here to the environment day in, day out? It is past time to change this.
