Not happy with parking at new seniors' centre

I have been a very happy member of the “Groovy Gang” choir that has operated out of the seniors’ centre for some 40 years. We smile at practice and we smile when we go outside to sing at all kinds of senior centres, etc.

I have been a very happy member of the “Groovy Gang” choir that has operated out of the seniors’ centre for some 40 years.

We smile at practice and we smile when we go outside to sing at all kinds of senior centres, etc., then smile when we go home. However, I think that my joy will be short-lived.

Next winter, I doubt that I will be able to cope with the parking problems and non-existent snow clearance. Especially if a person is disabled in any way, it will be no joy to get to practice. And I like to think that we bring smiles and happiness wherever we go to sing.

Whoever allowed the new building there did not take into account people’s needs. People do not fade into the woodwork at 55+. I wonder how many of our new members are unhappy? Maybe they will fade away.

There are so many different activities there for them. Did they think that we would all be chauffeured, take taxis or a bus?

Could be the planners thought we would bring our own skyhooks and solve the problem.
