It has been quiet for a while and it seems now is the best time again to upset the peace at City Council for making a good name before the election in October.
Well Cathy Heron you did it again, as you did in the Gazette of July 09, 2016 ‘Safety concerns at city hall stem from public, Heron says’, with the following up in the Gazette of July 13, 2016 MacKay demands apology, retraction from Heron ‘Accusations continue to fly in council chambers.’
From what I gather Ms. Heron, you seem to take pleasure in bringing to council the citizens’ complaints that any experienced politician knows how to deal with without getting every councillor and the public involved in.
I saved these papers from 2016, because I knew sooner or later a repeat of your poor political performance was going to show up again, and here we are. ‘Nasty debate tone causes concern on council’ (Gazette, June 3).
Please take some political lessons from Councillor MacKay and Mayor Crouse who explained what a person who runs for office can expect and knows how to deal and live with the public’s opinion, don’t forget this is a democracy, and we are not interested in your games nor do we want another motion to request a governance inspection from Municipal Affairs.
I will add the Gazette to my collection, and hope that I don’t have to write any future articles about St. Albert councillors.
Alphons Sadee, St. Albert
