Most seniors don't need parking break

Parking issues? I see where someone feels there should be special parking for seniors. Why? I'm not sure. If you are physically challenged you can get special parking tags.

Parking issues?

I see where someone feels there should be special parking for seniors.

Why? I'm not sure. If you are physically challenged you can get special parking tags. What is the definition of a “senior?” How would you regulate it?

And anyway it is not necessary. Most folks past the age of 60 or 65 are able to walk to their car, so why crowd out those who really need it? Maybe when I get old I'll think differently, but for now let the “handicapped” and “expectant mothers” enjoy some perks.

Hey, maybe moms or dads with two or three toddlers need a parking break. Thank goodness we have “civilized” parking on Perron again.
