Driving on St. Anne Street to St. Albert Trail I noticed the gaudy street/sidewalk painting that was done just recently. Not only does is look cheap but one has to ask is that how city hall again squanders taxpayers’ money? If this is to be art then I do not know what art is. It is bad enough that we have those ugly metal art pieces on display.
I have one more point to raise regarding the flower planters placed throughout the city. They looked dull, drab and had no lively colour whatsoever. This is not an enhancement to our city but rather an embarrassment. City hall should take a look at the flowers in Edmonton.
