Letter writer off base on refugees

He thinks we should not be accepting refugees from Syria because it is too expensive to us! He thinks it is OK to leave them in refugee camps where he thinks they have a good life!

Mike, go and spend a few months in a refugee camp! Syrians can't work in these camps, they have insufficient food and no washroom, electrical facilities. He makes those refugee camps sound like luxury hotels!

By your name, Mike, your forebears came to Canada from some other country. You were lucky your family was accepted here. You are probably a fairly well off St. Albertan but you are unwilling to give the chance of a decent life to people living in tents with no facilities and no money or job possibilities!
