With reference to the letter written by Mr. Wright, it appears he wants residents “to get over it” and move on because he supports the “gang of four” that consistently out vote the more conservative members of council. He states, “The biggest problem is this secret society that just likes to hide behind anonymity and bring down city council because they did not get what they wanted in the last election.” First of all, if it is a secret society, how does he know about it? Second, he then writes derogatory comments about councillors Sheena Hughes, Cam MacKay and Bob Russell. Perhaps Mr. Wright needs take his own advice, “If you elect an individual in a democracy you are, unless laws are broken, stuck with that individual until you can vote them out the next time around. So it did not work in your favour, get over it.” Hopefully “next time” we will vote in a majority of conservative thinking councillors that will put an end to the tens of millions of tax dollars wasted on useless projects presently supported by the “gang of four.” It is gratifying that Mr. Wright is extremely proud of his son-in-law and that this has nothing to do with his contempt and outwardly display of anger toward the three councillors that seem to consistently vote in opposition to his son in law.
