Kudos to two kind young men

Too often you get letters of complaint; however, recently I had two nice young men approach my home with a mother in tow offering some community service.

To say the least, I was astonished, amazed and particularly pleased that they would offer to clean up my yard – for nothing.  I am in my mid-70s and any help with yard work is greatly appreciated. Tyson and Jackson – from the St. Albert Triple "A" Hockey Club brought their own tools, garbage bags and spirit and cleaned up my yard exquisitely.

I think both the parents of these fine boys, along with their coach, Mr. Redick, deserve a lot of credit and praise for giving back to the community and helping out a senior. This is another reason why sports creates good teamwork and a sense of community.  Whatever they are doing as parents and a coach is amazing and it gives me a great sense of pride that there are youth in the community who will make this world a better place in the future.
