Thanks to Derek on Berrymore Crescent who took time out of his morning yesterday to teach my 19-year-old son to change a tire.
My son was lucky that he broke down across from your house whilst you were working in your garage. We appreciate how you thoroughly explained all the steps in detail and with patience, without physically helping him; a true mentor as you actually taught my son a valuable and useful skill.
After we left you yesterday, my son conveyed that by you teaching him, and not doing it for him, you have “taught him to fish to last a lifetime, rather than giving him a fish, to last a day.”
