This letter is long overdue, but I've just had yet another reminder which has prompted me to write.
This morning, city employees arrived in our neighbourhood to do some electrical work. They were polite, informative, and helpful. They were very professional.
Recently, I had to deal with some contentious issues to do with sheds, with the city's planning department. From the administration, to the planner, to legislative services, all polite, informative, and helpful.
I cannot say enough about our city employees. They go out of their way to serve us. So, to the new city manager, welcome. You are lucky to be a part of this.
