Hats off to the St. Albert Kinsmen!
The 6th St. Albert Pathfinders want to send a big thank you to the St. Albert Kinsmen Club for helping us out of a huge jam.
Our unit planned a weekend scrapbooking fundraising event and after finding out that our original venue could not look after us, I made a call to Jim Oscroft at the Kinsmen Banquet Centre. His suggestion to me was to write the club a letter detailing our problem and that he would take it to their meeting.
After a tense few days of wondering if we would have to cancel our event, just six weeks away, I received a call from Jim saying that the club was going to allow us to use the banquet centre for our weekend.
Words cannot express how thankful we are that they came through for us.
