For anyone keen on the “DATS” system. Be warned, anyone trying to walk the downtown streets, it could be a hazard.
If the retail merchants do not clean their sidewalks, then the city neglects theirs. Try walking along Sir Winston Churchill, to get to the seniors, curling, medical office at Grandin or Grandin Tower offices.
The sidewalks along the river are cleared properly.
I often have to phone city hall to get attention for the sidewalks. There are six apartments, with a lot of seniors in them. You don’t see them walking – because of the conditions, not the weather.
Here’s hoping something can be done.
