It's time for a new branch library

As I sit at this computer at St. Albert Public Library, I wonder how many other folk, like me, who cannot afford a home computer, Internet connection or the cost of ink, paper, etc.

As I sit at this computer at St. Albert Public Library, I wonder how many other folk, like me, who cannot afford a home computer, Internet connection or the cost of ink, paper, etc., come to SAPL exclusively to use the computers?

I use them, as I just did, to write a cover letter, attach it and a resume to an email to apply for a job. My phone suffices at times, but a larger screen is more comfortable to work on and catch up on emails.

Borrowing books, teaching us about technology, etc. are wonderful services our library provides.

The City of St. Albert has used my tax money for frivolous things such as painting scenery on the sidewalk in front of City Hall and although my income is below the poverty line, I would gladly pay the tax increase for a new library.

When I became a resident of St. Albert 33 years age, the population was approximately 20,000.

It is time for a new branch library.
