Let's start moving St. Albert in a positive way. Yes we dropped to No. 4, we really don't need any more beautifying, Sadly we can't get business people into shops because the rent is too high, not because we are not beautiful enough. It's rent is too high and the rent is too high because taxes are too high! Lower the cost of living and shopping in St. Albert and commerce will boom. It’s not rocket science. Also less planning would mean fewer meetings on how to plan and council could take well-deserved unpaid leave, enjoy the beautiful Alberta summer and not worry about streets going somewhere for no reason. Don't fret, or worry while you’re away, we promise to behave and pay our property tax and exorbitant utility bill on time.
Mr. Russell says he's an experienced councillor. If he can solve the utilities mess, he might be worth a shot. It's only a three-year stint!
