I was reading the Feb. 27 edition of the Gazette and title on page 24 caught my eye. "Prove photo radar is not a cash cow."
Well I would like to provide further proof and maybe have someone explain to me how I could be wrong. On my way home from work each day I take Dawson Road. I would say two to three times a week photo radar is set up on the corner of Langholm Drive.
Dawson is a quiet road with gated housing on either side and a controlled street crossing. It is a 50 zone, which is another issue. Why it is not a 60 zone is beyond me. I have not received a ticket there because I do drive the limits and I am all for photo radar in the proper areas.
However, for anyone to tell me photo radar is not a cash cow I would like them to explain this to me.
