I like the fact that my letter (Gazette, Jan. 30) has started a controversy. That is what democracy is about. I would like to make a point. I am not always in agreement with my son in law or the mayor like many suggest. I do have my own views too. I mentioned the fact of my relationship only to "come clean" so to speak.
I appreciate that I was corrected on some points. However some arguments were ridiculous. Let's just say that I learned a few things about people and their reactions to the statements that they disagree with. Some honestly debate, and some become very agitated and resort to name calling. Have a great day and keep up being involved, although donating your time and energy to a worthy cause might be better for St Albert.
