It is with a very happy and grateful heart that I wish to express my appreciation for the support of the St. Albert community I’ve received lately for my trip to Austria to study piano.
On the evening of July 6, I had the pleasure of performing the pieces that I will be playing in Austria for a St. Albert audience in a piano recital at Don’s Piano Place. Owner Don Vaugeois and his daughter Steffanie very generously provided me the use of the recital hall at Don’s Piano Place as a venue for my recital. Their continued encouragement and wholehearted support of my pianistic endeavours, as well as all the various ways they support young musicians in our community and in our province, is a source of pride and part of what makes this city truly great.
To all who attended my recital and to all at St. Albert Parish and Braeside Presbyterian Church who have shown their support, thank you very much for your generous donations and heartfelt encouragement! The additional funds will allow me to take part in even more classes and musical activities than I had planned for while in Austria this summer. Once again, I am overwhelmed by generosity of people in this community toward me and toward young artists in general. Thank you!
