I'm a dog owner who is also one of the 90+ per cent in St. Albert who are responsible for their dogs. I'm going to try a new tact.
Would you and the others who choose not to clean up your dogs' "poop" on private property, public and off leash parks and trails please write in and tell us why you don't do it. Also do you think it's right to chastise people who bring the subject to your attention? The 90 per cent of us would appreciate it.
Maybe Santa will leave a ton or two of coal on your front lawn.
I'd also like those people who run electrical cords across sidewalks to your cars and those who don't attend to their icy sidewalks and driveways to also write and tell us why they can't be bothered.
Maybe Santa will leave a few tons of coal too.
And maybe while we're at it, we should ask why the bylaw officers aren't out doing their duty?
