Election signs serve a purpose

It is unfortunate Mike Antoshko thinks signs are a waste. Voter apathy is a serious matter. Not everyone picks up the papers or takes the time to research the candidates.

We need to make everyone aware it is election time and the only thing that is a certainty is that they drive/walk down the streets. As long as there is low voter turnout, I think the signs should stay. As long as there are dedicated volunteers to believe in our system, represent our beliefs and clean up afterwards, they should be in our face. They are our representatives; we should be supporting them.

What other solution is there?
