Election results are a wake-up call

In the most recent poll, called the election, it showed approximately 31 per cent of people in St. Albert who voted are dissatisfied with the mayor and how he has led this city.

A big surprise? Not really, but it sure shows how statistics can be misleading when you poll 200 people in the neighbourhood of your choice to show 90 per cent of the people are satisfied with how the mayor and council are running this city. I would ask the poll to be done in Akinsdale next.

I hope this is a wake-up call for Nolan Crouse and Len Bracko to start listening to the people of St. Albert and not zone us out for their own visions. I believe both Crouse and Bracko have been a big part of the 85 per cent tax increase over their terms.

The old boys’ club is slowly being phased out. Enjoy the next three years gentlemen. Accountability is on the horizon.
