In the October, 2013 municipal election, Gilles Prefontaine came in sixth place of the six elected councillors.
Regarding the byelection, would it not have been a good idea to have Malcolm Parker, who came in seventh place, fill the vacant councillor position instead of having a by-election that's going to cost the City of St. Albert over $100,000 now?
