Is it just me or is anyone else greatly disappointed with the City of St. Albert's pitiful response to the first big snowfall of the year? 48 hours after the snow stopped (Sunday, Jan. 28 at 10:54 a.m.) we still haven't seen all of our major roadways cleared. The sanding trucks are out spreading sand on snow.
Drive a short five minutes into Edmonton and the major roadways are all cleared of snow and they will be starting the snow clearing in the neighbourhoods soon. All of the shopping centre parking lots in St. Albert have been cleared by the private contractors already. To me the clearing of snow off our roadways is one of the most basic services we expect for our much higher taxes. Come on St. Albert, get it together.
