Re: "Dentists on Call" (Gazette, June 8).
It was after reading the above-noted article that led me to the door of Nuvo Dental in St. Albert (Dr. Colin Diener and Dr. Brett Shkopich). My fear of dentists was born by the National Health Service (Scotland), fermented in adolescence and cemented in adult phobia.
Today I am happily and painlessly recovering from major dental surgery performed a few days ago by Dr. Colin Diener under general anesthesia by Dr. Clinton Torok-Both.
I cannot thank these doctors enough for their expertise, professionalism and compassion. The entire experience at Nuvo Dental from the non-clinical ambience of the waiting room to the understanding and care of the entire team has been exceptional throughout from initial consultation to surgery.
I could not have made a better decision in choosing Nuvo Dental and if it were not for the Gazette article I'd still be in pain with no end in sight.
Thanks to all for exceeding my expectations – exceptional in every way.
