Sorry, Mayor Tom Flynn. I may have misspoken about Sturgeon County actually building a rec centre, but you are misleading the public. The county isn’t actually building the rec centre itself but the funds have been approved toward the land acquisition, so it can be built.
Funny how words can be misconstrued. Like your quote, “Sturgeon County is working closely with Morinville on this project.”
You do know that the public can access your council meeting minutes, do you not? And of course all the articles about the rec centre in the Gazette and Free Press where you have commented. You are working together with Morinville to assure the rec centre will be built, which is estimated now at approximately $28 million dollars (Nov. 26).
Wow, what we could do for the actual infrastructure of Sturgeon County with even a portion of that kind of money. Which would benefit everyone in this county.
