So research suggests that putting poison in the water is a good thing. I realize the City of St. Albert doesn't have direct control over what Epcor does but if there is enough pressure from all their customers to take it out, they can save money, help the environment and our health.

The dangers of fluoride have been known for years and the reason it was initially put into public water supplies was for sinister reasons with faulty research. Do a quick Google search or go to the library. If council had done their own research or trusted the peasants to make their own decision on this, it might have been surprised. There's lots of good research out there to the contrary. Follow the money.

I would trust an independent scientist like Dr. Paul Connett with nothing to gain but threats from the corporate world before I'd trust the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or Health Canada. If people want to continue being exposed to fluoride, some dentists will still give you a dose at your annual checkup and you can swallow some toothpaste every day. But to expose everyone and children is criminal.
