How sad that Amacon is now allowed to raise the height of its Grandin mall development to 25 storeys. Thank you Sheena Hughes, Cam Mackay and Bob Russell for voting against this.
The intersection there is always busy. Now there will be even more people trying to drive to and from work in that area. Then there’s Lions Park, which is well used.
Why did our mayor and council not listen to the people who live in Grandin when we told them we did not want this development initially? Let’s hope the new tax dollars will pay for all the road and park repairs we can look forward to.
