“To me, it’s just going to be hard to stomach that we’re going to have a chain link fence at Lacombe Park,” he said. “It’s hard for me to even envision.”
Perhaps a visit to the beautiful St. Albert Botanic Park might help ease the notion that chain link fence is unsightly or diminishes enjoyment of the park.
That said, there isn't really any reason that eventually the safety and security provided by the fence couldn't be beautified by a hedge, similar to the botanic park, resulting in the best of both designs.
