Well.. it's as I have said all along, climate change is the biggest scam going!
People have been led to believe that if the politicians just pick our pockets a little bit more ... then it will fix all the problems of earth. I just finished reading about the debt and deficit of the province (Gazette, March 22) . Here is a line from that article in case you missed it. "The government will begin to move revenue from the carbon levy into the general revenue stream by 2021."
I thought it was imperative that we put this money into so-called green projects, etc.
This so-called carbon tax has been brought in under false pretences. I say that because how (if everything they have been telling us is true) can they just put that money into general revenue? I thought it was supposed to help the environment? How is putting our tax money into general revenue supposed to help? It is, simply put ... another way for the government to pick our pockets. Why are we being robbed of our money if it's just going to go into general revenue to be used at their discretion? If this money is not going to go into the green projects then stop taking our money from us. This tax was brought in under false pretenses ... we must start taking a stand against more taxes. The NDP have got to go!
