The St. Albert Catholic High School Interact Club would like to acknowledge and thank a select group of local businesses and neighbourhoods for their contributions and support to the inaugural SACHS Interact Club Bottle Drive, which took place on January third and fourth.
Interact is a club for young people ages 12 to 18 who want to join together to tackle the issues in their community that they care most about. It is the youth branch of Rotary International. Through the Interact club at SACHS: members carry out hands-on service projects, make international connections, and develop leadership skills.
Our bottle drive, in support of the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, was an overwhelming success. With the help of St. Albert Staples, Sorrentino’s St. Albert, Grenier Place Boston Pizza, the St. Albert Bottle Refund Center, and most importantly the residents of Oakmont and Woodlands, our small club of 15 members raised $1,451 for the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
