A great big thank you to the city for finally doing something about the parking lot near the BLESS shelter at the end of Rodeo Drive!
It has been enlarged considerably and many good-sized crab apple trees have been planted in a little green island in the centre. It will be a delight to see them in bloom!
This is the only parking lot in the city that provides access to the west end of Lois Hole Centennial Provincial Park and Big Lake. It was far too small, muddy, full of potholes, and had been an embarrassment to our Botanical Arts City.
