Be careful to share Red Willow Trail

A reminder to those using the Red Willow Trail system. In some areas there are tight blind corners, and should you choose to walk on the wrong side of the trail, you put people at risk.

Rounding an inside corner, the last thing you see is your own lane, and if someone is coming towards you in the same lane there is little time to react, especially anyone jogging or on wheels. Having to brake hard in mid corner is very destabilizing, and could result in a crash.

If you must walk there please be ready to step off the trail or the only escape route is the oncoming lane, which may be occupied. If you do cause a crash don't walk away like nothing happened. People may have been injured from your ignorance.
