In regards to comments made by Shawn Friedenberger, a communications adviser for the City of St. Albert (St. Albert Gazette, ‘At City Hall’ Oct. 1):
Purposefully directing visitors to the botanical garden through the downtown core is the same as having signs to Calgary from St. Albert or Edmonton directing people through Jasper – Banff then into Calgary!
How ridiculous – wasting people’s time and fuel as well as adding congestion to out already overloaded roads.
