Backing out of angle parking too difficult

I fully agree with “Deeply concerned downtown lover,” dated June 11 in the Gazette. I have used the angle parking spaces downtown only to find myself backing up into oncoming traffic.

I fully agree with “Deeply concerned downtown lover,” dated June 11 in the Gazette.

I have used the angle parking spaces downtown only to find myself backing up into oncoming traffic. If there is a large van parked next to you, there is no way you can see oncoming traffic until it's almost too late.

What were council members thinking?
