Am I the only person in St. Albert who is appalled by the $1.7-million dollar budget for St. Albert's 150th anniversary party?
I have been a proud citizen of St. Albert for 36 years and definitely feel there is a need to celebrate such a milestone, but $1.7 million dollars worth? And are we, as taxpayers, expected to pay for it?
