I agree with John W. Smith that angle parking on Perron Street will be dangerous. There will be collisions because it will be impossible to see if it is safe to back up due to the monster pickup truck parked beside me.
If angle parking is instituted I will simply avoid downtown altogether, especially Perron Street.
