Re: Our View (Gazette, Aug. 27) on cellphone zombies.

I recently arrived early at Grandin Medical Clinic and already five people were waiting for the clinic to open. I was greeted with 'Hi', 'Good Morning' and 'How are you?' as they moved to include me into their group.

We were soon chatting about the warm weather, the surrounding greenery and the passing traffic when one man spoke out. He said "Look at this, six people all talking together, and nobody is doing this!" as he mimicked someone texting on a smartphone.

We were still laughing as we entered the clinic.
