I wish to express my gratitude to the amazing nurses, orderlies and doctors of Unit 27 at the Sturgeon General Hospital.
I recently spent from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. prepping for, undergoing, and recovering from day surgery, and never in that time did I feel anything but welcomed, especially well cared for, and even pampered. Cheery smiles all round, very professional in their attention to detail, and always offering to take the time to explain what would be happening and what I might expect. I almost didn’t want to go home.
A comforting experience, a lovely day. Who would think that about a hospital. I now do.
