The NDP government intends to create a new agency because of the proposed Alberta Carbon Tax with budget documents suggesting revenue of $274 million the first year.
I beg to ask how many new bureaucrats and their staff shall be hired for this structure and will the cost of this new agency balance the expected income?
This newly elected government has been on a hiring frenzy and in this economic climate should be carefully cleaning the deadwood out of the house instead of increasing our tax burden by hiring more friends and relatives of the existing bureaucrats.
