Traditionally, news editors love to receive controversial letters as they attract readers and may lead to more letters. The Gazette is fortunate to have a couple of regular writers who might as well have their own columns. Doris Wrench Eisler is one and I enjoy reading her letters.
Jennifer Henderson is an excellent staff writer who helps deliver such controversy as the Luke Fevin saga. Mr. Fevin’s concerns are remarkable in that they do not address wars, diseases, treason, hurricanes, or other minor issues. His concerns are about the saying of a prayer in school. As a suggestion to help him and the school board resolve the issue, I suggest asking this question: “What would Jesus suggest?”
