Last night, two very young girls, maybe about six years old, rang my doorbell selling some berries as bird food.
I did not see any parents accompanying them.
This is very distressing to me, not that they were trying to make a little money, but that they were out on their own without parental knowledge or supervision.
I would have escorted them home but could not leave my wife alone.
C'mon parents, you can do better than that.
