It was around 9 p.m. on Friday, September 29 when a team of EMTs showed up at my door. They had the wrong building. I live in Mission Hill Grande at 78A McKenney Avenue. My mother lives in Mission Hill Village, 78 McKenney Avenue. To add to the confusion, there is also a 78B McKenney Avenue which is part of the Mission Hill Grande condo buildings that I live in and River Ridge 78C McKenney Avenue which is next door to the building that my mother lives in. All four buildings are on the former Sturgeon Hospital site, which I assume was 78 McKenney Avenue so I assume this is where the confusion comes in. Mission Hill Village was built first – so it's 78 McKenney Avenue. The building I live in is Mission Hill Grande 78A McKenney Avenue as it was built second. My Mission Hill Grande neighbours across the parking lot are in 78B McKenney Avenue.. And that's probably okay – except that River Ridge was built to the east of Mission Hill Grande – but since it was built later, it became 78C McKenney Avenue. I do not fault the EMTs for this ... but it Is a problem and one that everyone needs to be aware of. Maureen Heuchert, St. Albert
