I found it interesting that all candidates are in agreement, the functionality of left turn lights is a fiasco.
After months and months of discussion why isn't the matter resolved? The extra set of lights to provide for left turns at Boudreau and Page were installed in June/July. They are still not activated. This is an extreme safety issue.
Here's a joke. At the little used turn at Boudreau and Carnegie Drive (by the casino) not one, not two, but three sets of lights have been installed.
Why do we spend thousands of dollars to install these lights and then not activate them? How much "studying" has to be done by the engineering dept?
Once these lights are activated ... please, please allow for more than three cars to turn left (as is the case at Boudreau and Bellerose Drive).
Okay candidates – action speaks louder than words.
