Thanks to three knights in shining armour

I wish to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for the kindness of Randy, Gerald, and Jason. On the afternoon of Thanksgiving Monday Oct. 9 the car I had borrowed from my sister broke down on Ray Gibbon Drive.

I wish to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for the kindness of Randy, Gerald, and Jason. On the afternoon of Thanksgiving Monday Oct. 9  the car I had borrowed from my sister broke down on Ray Gibbon Drive. I didn't know what the heck I was going to do. I had to cancel my work shift once the car broke down. As I sat in my car wondering what to do, a black vehicle pulled up in front of me. Randy stepped out and took a look under the hood and thought perhaps I needed oil. He drove home and came back with some. That didn't work so he called some friends. Gerald showed up with a towing contraption so that I could get my sister's car back to her house. By this point the battery was also dead so I couldn't get the car out of park. Jason pulled his truck onto the grass and was able to boost the car. All three refused compensation, Randy's only request was that I pay it forward. I don't know if any of these angels in disguise will read this but I want others to know that despite all the chaos we are seeing on the news there are still a lot of good-hearted, generous people out there willing to help out others. I truly believe that is the norm not the exception. So thanks again to my knights in shining armour who came to the aid of a damsel in distress. I am truly grateful. Carrie Saunders, St. Albert
