I did not receive a ticket so this is not sour grapes. However I would like to comment on the set up of photo radar on Villeneuve Road by the compost site. At a time when school was in and children were playing on other greater St. Albert streets, our photo radar was taking pictures of motorists on a secondary highway when it could have been utilized to curtail speed in school zones and high accident locations, This is just proof that it is used to generate cash flow. I have yet to see a collision on Villeneuve Road. Nor are there pedestrians or traffic lights with high collision locations in the immediate area. I have no problem with photo radar if it is used effectively. As a taxpayer I find this disgusting and embarrassing to our city. This is ridiculous and can only be compared to stealing money from grandma's purse. Utilize this tool effectively. Jeff Steil, St. Albert
