I was just at the Senior Centre (50+ Club) on Nov. 4. St. Albert has a lot to be proud of. What a wonderful Christmas-themed affair: Santa and Mrs. Claus and the elves were there; entertainment by a male vocalist in the main foyer; all the rooms were filled with vendors; there was gingerbread decorating for the children; and the chef was serving beautiful lunches. There was a sold out bake table. Beautifully decorated baskets were raffled off at only $1 per basket. There was a joyful feeling throughout the rooms. A well-organized group of staff and volunteers put this event on for the community. St. Albert ... you did well. Joanie Juskiw, St. Albert
