Seven people we choose will represent us for years

We are all faced with making a decision this month that will affect us for years. We need to pick seven outstanding individuals to represent us. Some of our past choices have let us down.

We are all faced with making a decision this month that will affect us for years. We need to pick seven outstanding individuals to represent us. Some of our past choices have let us down. We do everything we can to avoid bullies at work, and protect our children from them at school. Yet we were fooled into electing some to be our representatives. As a coincidence, at the same time, information leaks, anonymous blogs and the mud-slinging all began. I read it was reported that city employees were afraid and being intimidated. I have not always agreed with Nolan Crouse. One thing that I do know is that he worked tirelessly for all the residents of this city. I believe that over and above giving 100%, the bullying and the back-stabbing were too much. St Albert lost a great champion of this city. The majority of citizens in this city do not want our services cut to the bare bones. We love our trees and green spaces, and happily pay the cost to have them. We want our pot holes fixed and the snow properly cleared in winter. We pay more because we demand more. The same goes for our city council. St Albert is made up of selfless volunteers. People who donate their time and money to charity and building the community. St. Albert achieved being rated the number one place to live. (It's ironic that around the same time the bullies showed up, that our ranking started to fall) This is an amazing city full of outstanding people. Take some time to research who you are voting to represent you, for the next few years. Choose people who represent your high standards and values, let's show our children we don't support bullying!
