Members at Large Agricultural Services Board (One) Member – 3-Year Term • ONE County resident to serve as a Member at Large on the Agricultural Services Board for a 3-year term ending December 31, 2027. • The membership of the board shall include persons who are familiar with agricultural concerns consistent with the Agricultural Services Board Act. • The members advise on agricultural acts and policies for the municipality and promote, enhance, & protect viable & sustainable agriculture in Athabasca County. • The Board meets quarterly on the last Wednesday of the month at 9:30 am., or at the call of the Chair. Family & Community Support Services (One) Member – 3-Year Term • ONE County resident to serve asaMember at Large on the Multi-Municipal Family & Community Support Services Advisory Board for a 3-year term ending December 31, 2027. • The Board has 8 scheduled morning meetings per year (excluding the months of April, July, August, and December). Applicants must be willing to actively support the FCSS Mission ‘to improve individual, family&community well-being by providing or supporting preventive programs & services. Residential Snowplowing Program Plan ahead and register for the County’s new Residential Snowplowing Program. This updated program removes the need for displaying flags during each snow event. Applications are good for one (1) winter season and covers snow clearing from private lanes/driveways for rural Athabasca County residents for the entirety of the season.
