PUBLIC NOTICE BYLAW 5/2024 BEING AMENDMENT 13 TO OFFSITE LEVY BYLAW 30/2013

 

TAKE NOTICE that in accordance with Section 648 of the Municipal Government Act notice is hereby given of the intent of the Municipal Council of the City of St. Albert to consider an amendment to Bylaw 30/2013 a Bylaw to establish Offsite Levies for Sanitary Sewer, Storm Sewer, Water and Roadways. Bylaw 5/2024, being Amendment 13 to Off-Site Levy Bylaw 30/2013 will be presented to Council on March 19, 2024. The purpose of this Bylaw is to update content of the Bylaw, development area within the benefiting areas, the project list and the rates within the Bylaw. Details of the proposed Bylaw may be obtained by phoning the Engineering Department at 780-459-1654. A copy of the proposed Bylaw may be examined between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays at the Legislative Services Department (3rd floor) in St. Albert Place, St. Albert. PUBLIC NOTICE City of St. Albert, Town of Morinville, Sturgeon County | Water Act | Notice of Application

 

Notice is given that the City of St. Albert, Town of Morinville, and Sturgeon County have filed an application under the provisions of the Water Act for an approval for a master drainage plan for the Carrot Creek drainage basin. The Carrot Creek drainage basin includes lands within the following Townships as shown in Figure 1: • 53-25-W4M, 53-26-W4M, 54-25-W4M, 54-26- W4M, and 55-25-W4M Any person who is directly affected by this application may submit a Statement of Concern within 14 days of the date of this notice. Alternatively, you may submit a written Statement of Concern to: Environment and Protected Areas Approvals Unit, 5th Floor, South Petroleum Plaza 9915 108 Street, Edmonton, AB T5K 2G8 The written statement of concern should include the following: • Quote the Case number: DAPP0040857 • Describe concerns that are relevant to matters regulated by the Water Act • Explain how the filer of the concern will be directly affected by the master drainage plan • Provide the legal land location of the land owned or used by the filer where the concerns described are believed to be applicable • State the distance between the land owned or used by the filer and the master drainage plan area • Contact information including the full name and mailing address of the filer. Please provide the telephone number and email address for ease of contact. Environment and Protected Areas will review each written Statement of Concern, seek more information if needed, and notify each filer by letter of the decision to accept or reject their written submission as a valid Statement of Concern. Statements of Concern submitted regarding this application are public records which are accessible by the public and the applicant. Failure to file a Statement of Concern may affect the right to file a Notice of Appeal with the Environmental Appeals Board.
