The city has released its photo radar locations to kick off the new year.

Provincial policy requires St. Albert Municipal Enforcement to advertise select photo enforcement sites.
The list outlines some, but not all photo enforcement locations within the city for the month.

Dare graduates
Seven St. Albert elementary schools have completed their Grade 6 Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) programs in partnership with the RCMP this year.
The DARE program is taught by RCMP officers in 10 weekly lessons. The focus of the program is on life skills such as problem solving, communication techniques, effective listening skills, bully prevention, stress management and drug awareness.
Vital Grandin, Keenooshayo, Wildrose and Ronald Harvey schools have already held their graduation ceremonies. Sir Alexander Mackenzie School and Neil M. Ross School will be scheduling their ceremonies for January.

AHS and HSAA reach new agreement
Alberta Health Services and the Health Sciences Association of Alberta, the union that represents many of the emergency medical service professionals across the province, have reached a new collective agreement.
The agreement includes a one per cent salary increase for year one, 1.25 per cent increase for year two and two per cent increase for year three. Lump sum payments at the end of year one and two are $1,000 each.
The contract sets out terms and conditions for more than 19,000 employees in pharmacy, laboratory, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation services, social work and emergency medical services.
The agreement is effective April 1, 2014. It expires on March 31, 2017.
