I want to thank the people of St. Albert that assisted me through my injury while running the Sturgeon River trails on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2020. The injury is significant and I was unable to move for a period of time until the ambulance arrived. During that time several people, maybe more, stopped to assist by donating clothing to keep me warm and comfortable; repositioning my injury to minimize damage; and generally keeping me in a calm state of mind throughout the ordeal.
It is during times like this that I am reminded how fortunate we are to live in such a wonderful community, filled with compassionate and caring people.
My sincerest thanks to all of you and I hope that one day I can repay the kindness! Thank you!!
